Pastor Jeff Clark has faithfully served as the pastor of Welcome Grove Baptist Church since 2004. Before coming to Welcome Grove, he pastored Browns Chapel Baptist Church and a church in Villa Rica. Known for his bold yet compassionate preaching, Pastor Jeff is an expository preacher with a strong camp meeting influence and a deep heart for caring for his church family. He often credits his wife, Amanda Clark, for being a vital part of the ministry, supporting him in countless ways. Together they are raising six children, several of whom are already actively serving in the church and in other ministries.

Luke 2:1–7 (AKJV)

2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cæsar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

2:5 to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
